In the coming years from coronavirus infections vaccine does not appear. This statement was made by Jens Spanam head of the Ministry of health of Germany, reports TASS.
Speaking at one of the shows on the channel АRD, the official said that a vaccine takes a long time, so to quickly solve this question, according to the head of the German Ministry of health, will not succeed.
“I would be very happy if in a few months I was able to develop a vaccine. But we should be realistic, to create it can even take several years, as during this process, scientists will fail and make mistakes. Like we have seen with other vaccines,” — said the Minister.
Today, in many countries, work is underway on creating a vaccine against coronavirus. In particular, earlier German Chancellor Angela Merkel called on leading countries to cooperate in the establishment of drug against COVID-19. She also noted that Germany will directly contribute to this work, including financially.
But so far all attempts by scientists have not yielded the desired result and vaccines against coronavirus infection failed to develop.
