The Kremlin responded to the data about falling of incomes of Russians because of the pandemic

The Kremlin said that is not familiar with the methodology of the survey, which revealed the growing number of Russians earning less than 15 thousand virtually any per month. According to the press-Secretary of President Dmitry Peskov, the survey involved a small number of people and therefore, to draw conclusions about the situation in the country is incorrect.This Peskov said that almost all development programs of the country, including national projects aimed at eliminating poverty.

As the survey was conducted

A telephone survey conducted SK “Rosgosstrakh-life” and scientific-technical center “Perspektiva”. Experts interviewed fifteen hundred people over the age of 18 across the country.At first they were interviewed prior to the introduction of mode isolation (from 26 February to 3 March) and then in June — after the weakening of restrictive measures.This allowed us to understand how the pandemic has affected the level of income. It turned out that the proportion of Russians with a monthly income below 15 thousand virtually any increased from 38,1 to 44.6 percent.
