Murashko called the time of vaccination of people from risk groups from COVID-19

“We plan that it will develop this year and in August will be offered, we now look, for some categories is, of course, primarily medical professionals and those who are faced most often with sick people, so the risk category will be offered the vaccine” — said the Minister.

However, he did not specify when you expect mass vaccination of the population.

According to Murashko, maintain the readiness of the Russian medical organizations to receive patients with the coronavirus, but we need to do everything to avoid a second wave of infection. He believes that first and foremost you need to avoid the spread of the disease.

The head of The Ministry of health said the vaccine against this infection, created nits of epidemiology and Microbiology named Gamalei, may obtain the registration certificate in the first week of August. According to him, the performance from COVID-19, and the safety has been already confirmed.

The same day Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, speaking in the Duma with the report on the work of the government for 2019, expressed the hope that the finished vaccine from this virus will appear in the autumn.

The Russian direct investment Fund (RDIF) have made the beginning of production of vaccines in August, after receiving approval from regulators.

At the end of may Murashko said that the first samples of a vaccine against coronavirus may become available for health-care workers in August-September.
