Coronavirus COVID-19

After the cost of the vaccine against coronavirus

American biotechnology company Moderna intends to set the price for a course of vaccine from COVID-19 at the level of 50-60 dollars, according to Financial Times, citing informed sources.

The price, says the FT, the company will establish for the United States and other countries with “high income”.

The publication notes that the price is likely to change as the Moderna estimated the vaccine is higher than Pfizer and BioNTech, which last week signed an agreement with U.S. authorities to sell up to 600 million doses of their respective vaccines against coronavirus at a cost of 19.5 per dose.

Earlier it was reported that an American biotech company Moderna embarked on the third phase of clinical trials of vaccines against coronavirus. Project vaccine company supports the US Federal government, which allocated nearly $ 500 million and selected it as one of the first to start large scale human trials.
