In his interview to journalists the head of the organizing Committee compared the coronavirus situation with the military times, when similar competitions were canceled. Recall that summer Olympics in Tokyo, in connection with the global pandemic of coronavirus, according to the decision of the IOC and the government of Japan had previously been postponed to 2021. Presumably it will be held from 23 July to 8 August.
