The Ministry of healthcare has developed and submitted to the regions guidelines for the provision of medical rehabilitation of patients who recover from coronavirus infection. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry.
Recommendations take into consideration the specificities of rehabilitation of children, adults and patients who require the provision of specialized medical care, their routing on the stages of rehabilitation and treatment measures for physicians struggling with coronavirus infection. According to the guidelines, referral of patients in medical institutions should be carried out with the help of advanced remote consultation to determine the stage of rehabilitation.
“A feature of patients with COVID-19 is the necessity of isolation for 14 days after discharge from the rehabilitation stage of specialized or hospital care. It is the optimum time for carrying out activities of medical rehabilitation remotely at home using telemedicine technologies”, — said the press service of the Ministry of health. To further rehabilitation after post-infection isolation of patients can be directed to the medical institution on the basis of regional road maps routing.
