The Ministry of health approved a new version of recommendations for the treatment of coronavirus in children, reported the press service of the Ministry.
The document was updated with observations for young patients in the country and abroad.
It States that in Russia children with coronavirus is six to seven percent of the total. Recovery usually occurs within one to two weeks.
The health Ministry also withdrew the recommendation to use lopinavir/ritonavir for children and adults. The drug was used in China, Iran and the United States and have not proved effective.
“Wash your hands”
The last version of the document, the Ministry of health published in April. The Agency noted that hospitalization is required for ten percent of the affected children, severe cases do not exceed one percent.
At the end of June, the CPS recommended that adults should ensure that their children often wash their hands with soap and water, keep your distance not less than two meters, and choose solitary places for walks.
