The hotline of the Moscow coronavirus is received more than 1 million calls

From March 23 on a special hotline by coronavirus infection, residents of Moscow and Moscow region called more than 1 million times. These figures were announced at the city hall today, may 11.

Every day on number +7 (495) 870-45-09 is made about 15,000 phone calls, the lion’s share of which accounts for people living in the Moscow region and in Moscow itself. Daily from 8:00 to 21:00 this hot line is available for calls, it employs 370 operators.

People call for a variety of reasons, but most of all offer charity, require psychological support and seek advice. Among the total number of calls, about 128 thousand it was a request for the purchase and delivery of medicines. Another 93 thousand requests to buy food. About 83 thousand calls relate to the topic of payments for the period of mode isolation.

About 20 thousand calls were made about the delivery of coal and firewood to those people who during the pandemic coronavirus moved outside the city to the country.

Also quite often call the hot line people older than 65 years with chronic disease. Usually they want to know more information on obtaining social services.
