Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed the decree about rewarding of workers for their contribution to the fight against coronavirus, reported on the Kremlin website on Sunday.
“Vladimir Putin has signed decrees on awarding employees of the Russian medical and scientific institutions for his great contribution in the fight against coronavirus infection, selfless labor, manifested in the performance of professional duty, the order of the Pirogov medal and Luke of Crimea“, — stated in the message.
Earlier, the President signed a decree establishing the order of Pirogov and medals Luke of Crimea. The order of The Pirogov will reward the citizens for the provision of medical care in emergency situations, epidemics, hostilities and other circumstances involving a risk to life.
Medal Luke of Crimea, in accordance with the decree, is awarded to practitioners and Junior medical staff and other workers of healthcare organizations for achievements in the field of health protection of citizens, for their great contribution to organization of medical aid and strengthening public health.
