In Russian schools may extend holidays due to coronavirus

According to the publisher
RIA-Novosti, the Russian government is considering to extend
holidays in educational institutions in connection with the epidemic
coronavirus in the state. Such recommendations came from the regional Ministry of education.

In particular, spring break may be extended from 18 March to 1 April in Novosibirsk region, Bashkortostan, Kamchatka Krai, Altai region, including in Udmurt Republic. Vice Prime Minister noted that some categories of schools have the right to make the decision to move students on distance learning. There are also a number of educational institutions with the holidays coming next week, so today will be the decision on early release for holidays and transfer students for distance learning.

advised all schools to move to remote teaching, and Ministry of science
recommended universities to organize remote classes of students.
