For the past day on the territory of the Russian Federation recorded 10 633 new cases of infection with coronavirus infection. Today this figure is a record. Before that the highest number of infections was 9 623. Based on recent data, the total number of infections in the country reached the level of 134 687 people.
According to the operational headquarters of Moscow, the last cases of infection occurred in 85 regions of Russia. Also important is the fact that 50% of the total number of infected coronavirus occurs without any symptoms.
The number recovered from COVID-19 in the country amounted to 1626 people.
Most of the facts of infection coronavirus infection recorded in the city of Moscow — 5948, before the record index of the capital of the Russian Federation was at the level of 5358 cases.
On the second place of this rating was located the suburbs with 822 facts of infection with coronavirus. Traditionally, the third place is St. Petersburg, where in recent days were able to identify 295 people with COVID-19. Among the regions of Russia, most infections occurred in the Nizhny Novgorod region — 252.
Today Russia is in quarantine mode until the end of may holidays.
