The Federal centers the Federal medical-biological Agency, which for the period of the pandemic coronavirus infection repurposed for the reception of infected patients found atypical symptoms of the disease. This information is reported by the press service of the Agency.
We are talking about two patients with an atypical course of the disease. As they say in the message, both patients in the treatment process have similar symptoms: increased body temperature and a negative trend in the form of “acute abdomen” (of a symptom). Such symptoms appear in people undergoing emergency surgery.
The doctors quickly responded to such patients and take appropriate decision. Each patient carried a diagnostic laparoscopy, which showed the presence of abdominal fluid.
Based on these same two factors of occurrence of diseases, the medical staff concluded that the disease COVID-19 in some cases may be accompanied by the appearance of serous peritonitis.
According to experts, such a state is a systemic response of organism to viral infection. As a result, microvessels occur pathological changes, with serous membranes become inflamed.
