In Kiev public transport will resume its work after 22 may

In Kiev in a normal mode of public transport will resume after the lifting of all restrictive measures, it will happen on 22 may. Such information was announced by the mayor of the Ukrainian capital Vitali Klitschko, in the ongoing online press conference.

As stated by the mayor of Kiev, after may 22 in Kiev public transport will start in normal mode its work. However, he added that the resumption of transport will be gradual, as it dramatically to make it extremely difficult.

“For the transition to the normal operating mode of the Kyiv public transport routes, we will gradually increase the number of rolling stock. For a short period of time everything will fall into place. The priority we have trolleybuses and trams, as this ecological means of transport”, — added Klitschko.

As stated by the mayor of Kiev, from may 12 to the city routes were exposed to 30 additional vehicles. In General, the city public transport operates on 22 routes by which passengers are transported.

We remind you that since the announcement in Ukraine of quarantine for pandemic coronavirus infection, in Kiev, stopped the movement of public transport. Also for this reason not works of the Kiev metro.
