The spread of the coronavirus COVID-19 can prevent a city Day in Moscow as it was planned, but the government still preparing for the event, said the mayor Sergei Sobyanin (in 2020 Muscovites will celebrate 873-anniversary of the capital). “We have full confidence that we will be able to spend the Day in the city that we allow this epidemic situation. We therefore are beginning to prepare for this big event,” said Mr Sobyanin the TV channel “Russia 24”. We will remind, since mid-March in Moscow imposed a ban on all public events.
