The us company Novavax announced two successful studies of their own drug, which can later be used as a vaccine against the coronavirus. This was reported on the website of the company on Tuesday, 4 August.

The study involved healthy volunteers aged 18 to 59 years. It is noted that the vaccine was well tolerated, participants revealed a high level of antibodies to the virus without dangerous side effects.

In addition, the researchers found that the vaccine also protects against infection in experimental primates.
